This portrait of the Transsylvanian town of Saros is an installation of photographs, graphic art and multimedia. It pictures physical reality in the stretchy length and rythm of select traverses along the roadside architectural artefacts. Currently exhibited at the Contemporary Arts Gallery of the Brukenthal Museum, Sibiu (Hermannstadt), Romania.

Central themes in Martin Koeppl`s graphic works, installations and media sculptures are the spiritual aspects of humans existentially situating themselves within their places. He strives for the immediacy of presence and for engraining the spatial and rythmic structures of authentic places in our perceptions.
